I thought this was a well done video clip. You can tell they (and Lance Pickett) did put a lot of thoughts into this clip. Check it out. Enjoy! :).

  2. It's not a fear tactic. Come on, look into the facts and you'll see there is a valid reason for being afraid of the loss of quality VRS services.

This is a great video--neutral. Most people in this video don't work for a VRS company. One, that I know of, works for SprintVRS, Two work for Sorenson, one works for Purple.

  3. I think it is great to let the Deaf voice be heard. Whether you agree or disagree, you can't really criticize Deaf for standing up for something that could possibly effect them! I think it is a great video, one worth considering!!

  5. Nice video - there is nothing in FCC regulations stating that long holds is acceptable. These rules remain in place.

  6. You are right that the FCC requires a shorter hold time than previously allowed. However, I think the point in this video is that if VRS services suffer because of the new rates, we WILl see longer holds because there will be less interpreters available to take calls.

Sorenson, for example, has 5 thousand interpreters. If Sorenson goes out of business, that'll leave thousands of calls for a very small pool of interpreters from CSDVRS, ZVRS, Purple, SnapVRS, Hamilton, etc.

  9. You are wrong, anonymous. Most of the people in the video are NOT Sorenson employees. However, even if they were, so what? Sorenson did not pay them or ask them to make this video. They did it on their own.

  10. You are dead wrong! I know those people got paid from Sorenson cuz I was there!

  11. After I watched video and realized that many of staff that I knew are current work for SorensonVRS. What a shame! I contacted them and asked why. They said sorenson demand them to made one. Thats biased!

I hate Sorenson! We allow sorenson hearing people control us like Agbell!

  12. I took the time to talk with EACH person involved in this video and they ALL said that Sorenson did not pay them or ask them to make the video. They decided to do it themselves. Again, I talked to EACH person.

  14. Did you realized that they are not permission to tell if they get paid from Sorenson. The contract made it clear that they cannot give out the source where the fund come from.
